Forster: We Need Goals

Ipswich Town striker Nicky Forster says Town need to start scoring goals before they can think about making the top half of the table.

Town have scored just 27 goals in 26 league games this season and that simply is not good enough.

 

Forster: “At the moment we've really got to concentrate on creating chances and scoring goals.

 

“It's important we do that before we start looking at breaking into the top half of the table.

 

“Once again, we passed the ball really well last night but we're badly lacking a goal threat at the moment.

 

“We desperately need someone to start putting the ball in the back of the net, and that would give the whole team confidence.”

 

While Forster is saying Town need to score, perhaps someone should inform them that they have the second worse defence in the league with only Crewe having let in more goals.
