Fab Card Appeal Rejected

Ipswich Town defender Fabian Wilnis will miss Saturday’s game against Wolves after his appeal against the red card he picked up against Cardiff was rejected.

Wilnis was dismissed after 12 minutes in Monday nights game against the bluebirds after he fouled Cardiff striker Cameron Jerome.

 

Town tried to appeal the card on the grounds that Fabian was not denying Jerome a goalscoring chance as the ball went through to Town ‘keeper Lewis Price, but the appeal was rejected by the Football Association Disciplinary Panel and Fabian will now miss Saturday’s game against Wolves.
