Ipswich Town have offered a 2 and a half year contract to Norwegian triallist Vemund Brekke-Skard.
The 24-year-old has been on trial at Portman Road for last week and has done enough to impress Joe Royle and be offered a contract.
Skard was spotted playing for Norwegian second division out fit Bremunddal by the same agent who sent Sito Castro to Portman Road in the summer.
“Vemund has done well while he has been with us and we have offered him a contract for the rest of this season and next year as well,” said Joe Royle.
