Currie Praise For Jay

Ipswich Town midfielder Darren Currie has praised the influence loan arrival Jay McEveley has had since arriving at Portman Road.

Jay joined Town on a season long loan from Premiership side Blackburn Rovers at the end of august and Currie has praised the impact he has had since then.

 

Currie: “Jay has made a big impression at the back for us since he arrived here, he's a good lad to play with and he reads the game well. He's also a good talker, wants to pass the ball and is deceptively quick.

 

“He's also a really nice lad as well and has fitted into the side on and off the pitch very easily.”
