McDonald Aiming For Goal

Ipswich Town striker Dean McDonald is hoping he can get a goal against Leeds United today after they turned him down before he joined Town.

McDonald: “it would be lovely to go back and show them what they are missing. But more importantly, I’m grateful for the opportunity the gaffer has given me here and I want to do well to repay him.  

 

“I would love to score. I have not got a goal yet but that would be brilliant. It would be great for the team, especially if it helps us win, and would be a wonderful confidence-booster for me. It would set me up for the season, to be honest. I would love to score.”
