According to a tabloid newspaper Ipswich Town want to sign young Charlton Athletic defender Osei Sankofa on-loan.

The 20-year-old defender has made one senior appearance for the Addicks, against Manchester United in 2003 but injury has hampered his career ever since so he is yet to add to that number.

 

It is highly unlikely that Town will make a move for Osei as Joe Royle has gone on record a number of times saying he does not want another defender.
