Westlake Injury Blow

Ipswich Town midfielder Ian Westlake will miss up to six weeks after damaging ankle ligaments in training today.

Westy lasted just an hour of today’s training session before having to be carried off the pitch to have scans on his ankle

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “Westy's damaged his ankle ligaments and the physio staff have said that he will be out for up to six weeks.

 

“It's a blow for Westy and for us but we have to get on with it.”
