Jim Fit For Weekend

Ipswich Town captain Jim Magilton says he will be fit for Town’s game against Millwall despite a minor toe injury.

Jim has been suffering with an arthritic toe for the past three months but had an injection into the area this week which should settle it down.

 

Jim: “I have not trained as much as I would have done and have tried to rest it as much as possible.

 

“It's been bothering me for a while. We hoped it would settle down over the summer but it's not worked out like that.

 

“I've had a scan done and the results are normal but the injury is still bothering me and I've had to have injections before games.

 

“Now I've had a cortisone injection and we hope that will do the trick. The signs are encouraging but I'll definitely be okay for the weekend anyway.”
