Sito In Registration Race

Ipswich Town are in a race against Time to try and get new signing Sito Castro registered in time to face Cardiff City tomorrow.

The 25-year-old defender signed for Town earlier this week but the paperwork confirming his transfer is yet to go thorough so he may miss the kick-off of the new season.

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “The original idea was for Sito to have an intensive weekend training but there is now a chance he could be involved against Cardiff, his signing has not been completed yet and there is paperwork to be done so it's a race against time to see if we can get it all sorted out in time.”

 

Sito will be wearing the number 15 shirt and will be joined in the squad by Jaime Peters and Chris Casement
