Mitchell Two Weeks Away

Ipswich Town youngster Scott Mitchell is recovering from an ankle operation but is still at least two weeks away from a return.

The 19-year-old defender/midfielder damaged ankle ligaments while playing for Town’s reserve side towards the end of last season and recently underwent an operation to repair the damage.

 

Scott: “It's going okay but I am still a few weeks away from getting back to full training, then it will be maybe another two weeks or so after that before I get back to playing matches.

 

“It's been frustrating but injuries are part and parcel of football and I have to get on with it.”
