Dabizas Linked

Former Leicester City defender Nikolaos Dabizas is being linked with a move to Portman Road as Joe Royle continues his search for a defender.

The central defender celebrates his 33rd birthday next month and is technically a European cup winner (despite not playing in a single game for Greece at euro 2004) was released by Leicester at the end of the season and has been looking for a new club ever since.

 

It is believed his preferred move would be to an Italian side but he is reportedly in Belgium discussing a move to Anderlecht. He has also played for Olympiakos and Newcastle United.
