Alan Rogers Linked

According to reports in a tabloid newspaper, Ipswich Town are ready to make a move for Nottingham Forest left back Alan Rogers.

The 28-year-old left back is on the transfer list after falling out with forest manager Gary Megson, but as he still has two years to run on his contract so may command a fee and it would take something special to take him away from the City ground as he has stated publicly he wants to stay at Forest for the remainder of the deal.

 

Rogers started his career at Tranmere Rovers and is in his second spell at forest after joining Leicester City and returning 3 years later via a loan spell at Wigan athletic in 2003/2004.
