Clarke Link Denied

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle rubbished weekend reports linking Town with a move for Stoke City captain Clive Clarke.

Royle: “I don't know where that one's come from. He will cost a fee so that virtually rules us out.

 

“We've spent money to bring Sam Parkin in and we can't do it for anyone else. There is absolutely nothing in the link with Clive Clarke.”
