Joe Denies Granville Link

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has denied reports linking the Club with a move for Crystal Palace defender Danny Granville.

Although Joe is looking for another a defender it is not the 30-year-old who he knows well from his time as manager at Manchester City.

 

Royle: “I know Danny well and he's a very good player, but the simple fact is that he is out of our price range. It is as straightforward as that.

 

“People have put two and two together and decided he is coming here, but we have had no contact whatsoever with Palace.”
