Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed he is interested in signing Reading striker Nicky Forster.
The 31-year-old striker has said he wants to play in the premiership so Town may have to wait to sign the striker who scored 9 goals in all competitions last season as its been reported that Wigan boss Paul Jewell wants to sign him, a number of Championship clubs including Burnley, Millwall, QPR, Stoke, Sheffield United and Watford are also reportedly interested in signing him.
Town manager Joe Royle has admitted his interest in Forster but is still staying tight lipped, Royle has said: “Nicky Forster is definitely a player who interests us but that's all I am going to say on the subject.”
