Davis: It Has Been Good

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis believes that last night’s play-off defeat against West Ham cannot taken as a measure of an otherwise good season.

Davis could be leaving Town in the summer if rumors linking him with a move to Arsenal turn out to be true, believes that this season has been a good one.

 

Davis: “When the dust has settled, we'll look back on this season and recognise just how good it's been.

 

“We had some great wins and for two months we were top of the table - against all expectation from the pundits who were predicting a mid-table slot when the year started.

 

“So we have proved a lot pf people wrong and all in all it has been a good year but at the moment it doesn't feel like that because losing out in the Play-Offs is, of course, massively disappointing.”
