Unsworth A Concern

On-loan Portsmouth defender David Unsworth is a doubt for Town’s final home game against Crewe on Saturday.

The 31-year-old had to leave the field against Leeds on Saturday after twisting his ankle being replaced by Drissa Diallo.

Town manager Joe Royle has said: “David turned his ankle and suffered a ligament strain. He is 50-50 for the Crewe game, although it will depend how he responds to treatment and when he returns to training.

“He is going to try to train on Friday and we are hopeful that he will make it. We are certainly not writing him off yet.”

Should Unsworth be ruled out Royle is likely to move Fabian Wilnis over from the right back slot to the left and give Drissa Diallo his first start in 4 months.
