Ipswich Town’s followed up their 4-0 win against the Derby reserve side with a 1-0 win over the Spurs Reserves tonight.
Town midfielder Owen Garvan scored the only goal of the game after 40 minutes after the spurs ‘keeper only managed to parry a free-kick.
Town had chances to take the lead before Garvan’s goal with Pablo Couñago and Billy Clarke both going close early on.
Town dominated most the game with Spurs’ first real chance coming on the hour when Johnnie Jackson hit wide.
Town had chances to score again before the end but didn’t, they remain bottom of the FA Premier Reserve League South 4 points behind West Ham and Portsmouth but with a game in hand on the hammers and two on pompey.
