Ipswich Town defender Drissa Diallo is making steady progress in his return from his long-term hamstring problem.

The 32-year-old who hasn’t played for Town’s first team since December when he snapped a tendon in his hamstring.

Town physio Dave Williams: “Drissa is coming along steadily but it's a case of step by step at the moment, we will be reassessing his situation at the end of the week to see where we go from there but all the reports on his progress have been encouraging.

“It's too early to start looking at a date for his return to training though. We will have more of an idea next week.”
