Penalty Says Miller
Ipswich Town midfielder Tommy Miller believes that Town were correctly awarded a penalty against Cardiff City last night.
The 25-year-old tucked away his 6th penalty of the season and 23rd in succession to give Town a 1-0 win last night against the bluebirds.
Miller:“The lad definitely caught me as I spun away from him.
“I went down a touch late because I thought I might get to the ball but there was definitely a connection and the referee made the right decision.
“I struck the kick well enough and I must be closing in on 30 penalties or so now without missing.
“It was a good three points for us in the end as well because they made it difficult for us but I thought we passed the ball well and could have scored before we did.
“We didn't know Wigan and Sunderland's scores until we got back in the dressing-room but there are eight games to go yet and that's plenty of time for things to change in our favour. We just have to keep on winning.”
