Former Town loanee and Arsenal defender Daniel Karbassiyoon is hoping that Town win promotion to the premier league.

The 20-year-old defender left Town yesterday and returned to Arsenal after just over two months on-loan at Portman road.

Karbassiyoon: “I really enjoyed myself at Ipswich and I hope the club wins promotion.

“I made some new friends and it was great getting a taste of first-team football.

“The players made me feel very welcome from day one at Ipswich and I will be watching with interest how the team gets on over the rest of the season.”
