On-loan Leicester City striker James Scowcroft has admitted he handled the ball during Town’s game against Watford last night.

On-loan Leicester City striker James Scowcroft has admitted he handled the ball during Town’s game against Watford last night.

Scowie was making his 250th appearance for Town last night and has said: “I went up to challenge for the ball in the air and as it came down it hit my hand. I don't know if it hit the defender's hand as well, but when the referee blew I was worried he was going to give me a second yellow card and that I'd be off.”

The referee instead awarded Town a penalty which Tommy Miller converted.
