Reaction from Ipswich Town trio Scott Mitchell, Ian Westlake and Daniel Karbassiyon after today’s 3-1 defeat against Bolton in the FA Cup.

Scott Mitchell: “I was delighted to be back in action with the first-team after several weeks absence. I woke up this morning and felt really up for it and wanted to show people what I could do; I was buzzing first-half. We were playing a Premiership side and to be honest for large parts of the game we were a lot better than Bolton. Personally, I'm disappointed that we are out of the Cup but we can now concentrate all our efforts on the Championship.”

Ian Westlake: “We played the better football for the best part of the game but failed to get the result. They caught us on the break a couple of times, possibly offside on at least one occasion; very unfortunate. You never want to lose, particularly at home, so the result today does matter: there are those who think we're better off out of the Cup this year but I want to win all our games! The Championship is now the way forward for us and perhaps we'll meet Bolton next season - and beat them!”

Daniel Karbassiyon: “It was really good to go out there and play 90 minutes football; I just came off right at the end when I got a crack on the calf - but I'm fine. It was a good work out and good performance from the team. We did really well and the scoreline was unfair to us. I haven't played a full game in a while so it was good to get that under my belt. I'm really enjoying it here at Ipswich; I would never say anything disparaging about Arsenal, but if I could stay here longer and get more first-team experience it would be really great.”
