Irish triallist Daryl Murphy has had to cut short his trial at Ipswich Town after sustaining a groin injury, whilst training with Town.

Irish triallist Daryl Murphy has had to cut short his trial at Ipswich Town after sustaining a groin injury, whilst training with Town.

The 21 year old Irish under 21 and Waterford United striker was due to have a week training with the Town squad but injured himself training, he will now return to Ireland and when he has recovered come back to Ipswich for a second trial.

Murphy is also reportedly in the sights of premier league side Manchester City, Scottish premier league side Livingston and a number of clubs in Ireland.
