Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle has been named the November manager of the month for the football league championship.

Four wins from Towns’ five games this month saw Town over take Wigan as the league leaders and break a club goal scoring record.

Crewe manager Dario Gradi, Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy and Burnley chief Steve Cotterill were also in the running after their teams also managed 4 wins out five.
