Drury Joins Town

Town have signed midfielder Andy Drury from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old only joined Luton in the summer but has moved to Town signing a deal until the summer of 2013.

Andy says the chance to move to Portman Road was too good to turn down, saying: "I'm obviously delighted to be here. It's a great opportunity for me to come here and show what I can do at a top football club, there were a couple of clubs interested but as soon as I knew Ipswich wanted me, my mind was made up instantly.

"Ipswich has a great history and looking around the place, it's a fantastic football club

"I know the fans and the players won't know much about me but it's up to me to show that I can make an impact here. That's the target for me, to get into the team and help Ipswich progress."

Anyone seen him play? Rather get someone with potential from League 1 than someone past their sell by date from the Prem. Build for the future.
