Jewell Hoping For More Signings

Town manager Paul Jewell is hoping to add to his squad ahead of the January transfer window closing on Monday night.

So far Town have signed Jimmy Bullard on-loan but have missed out on Swindon striker Charlie Austin who joined Burnley earlier today.

Jewell: "We're hopeful of doing something before the deadline. We're trying to help the squad and improve it.

"Players themselves are always looking for the squad to be strengthened and hopefully we can add to the options we have. I think the more options we've got, the happier everyone will be."
