Clegg: We're Searching

Town Chief Executive Simon Clegg says Town are searching for a new manager and the new man will have just one goal, take Town up.

Clegg: "We are in the process of looking for a new manager and that is at an advanced stage.
"We have a number of options but I don't expect a new man to be in place for the Chelsea game.

"I'm not going to speculate on who the manager might be or fuel the speculation.

"We know the type of manager we are looking for but the brief will be to take Ipswich Town back into the Premier League."

The bookies favourite for the job is former Bradford, Wigan and Derby manager Paul Jewell.
