Colback Can Stay

Sunderland manager Steve Bruce says Jack Colback will be the one who decides whether or not he stays at Town until the end of the season.

Bruce: "I'm aware that Jack's loan spell is almost up at Ipswich but I'm going to leave it to him to decide whether or not he comes back.

"I've had Roy on the phone talking about it and it was interesting situation – we do have injury problems at the moment, but then I know Jack is doing well down there and getting regular football.

"So we'll have a word with Jack and leave the ball in his court really – if he wants to come back then he's free to do that but if he wants to stay there until the end of the season, we're happy that that will continue helping him to improve."
