Murphy To Go Under The Knife

Town goalkeeper Brian Murphy will be undergoing surgery on his ankle tonight and will be out of action for around three months.

Murphy broke his ankle in training last week, the club let the swelling around the injury go down before deciding to operate on it.

Town manager Roy Keane: "It's been decided that Brian needs an operation and he will have surgery tonight, he will be out for three months and it's a big blow for us and for Murph."
