Town face Watford at Portman Road tomorrow afternoon in the first of their festive fixtures.

Town will be without Shane O'Connor and Brian Murphy who suffered injuries in training this week and Andros Townsend has gone back to Spurs.

Town manager Roy Keane: "Watford seem to have been a bit of a bogey club to Ipswich over the years, we have had our disappointments at their place in the time I've been here but we were outstanding against them at home last season. If we play like that again we will have a good chance of getting a result.

"It promises to be a difficult game though. Watford have a nice balance to their squad with the energy of their youngsters and players like John Eustace and Martin Taylor who know the game.

"I like the way they are set up, particularly away from home and they've had some great results on the road, wins at QPR and Millwall in particular.

"We've got to kick on now though. I felt we would give a good performance regardless of the conditions against Leicester last week and we got that. Now we have to go again."
