Luke Moore In Walters Swap?

By Aston
August 14 2010

West Bromwich Albion striker Luke Moore is being linked with Town as part of a swap deal that will see Jon Walters move to the Hawthorns. The 24-year-old striker joined West Brom from Aston Villa in 2008 for £3 million and has since scored just 5 goals in 47 games.

If Walters is to go to West Brom with Moore coming to Portman Road expect a decent fee for Walters as it could be that West Brom want Moore off their wage bill before his three year contract expires.

Ipswich fans, I come in peace.

Is this Walters any good? He has a lot to live up to if he's going to replace Moore. We will really never forget SuperLuke.

You will be very lucky if you can get Luke to play for you.

Morning all, ITFC supporter here. Walters is very good on his day, but has been pretty inconsistent the last couple of years. Seems like most WBA supporters would be glad to see the back of Luke Moore. Maybe you should keep him, just cough up about £3mill instead???

Well I feel I need to warn you all over there in the east! Phone the club today, stage a protest at every game to prevent him coming!! Luke Moore is the worst football player known to man, he really is awful, fact. How he ever come to playing at any level is amazing. I've played against better down the park in the warley Sunday league! His attitude stinks as well. He makes you feel depressed watching him. God help u all if he comes...

Walters is alright, certainly capable of good things, but if he'll be able to do it against Premiership defenders is anyones guess to be honest.

I can't see why would want Luke Moore, we have enough strikers who can't score already.
