Bristol City Bid For Stead?

Town striker Jon Stead is reportedly a target of Town’s Championship rivals Bristol City after possible moves to Coventry and Huddersfield Town fell through. The 27-year-old joined Town from Sheffield United in 2008 and has scored 18 goals in 61 starts, 6 of those goals coming last season, but he fell out of favour towards the end of the season and was loaned out to Coventry City where he scored 2 goals in 10 games.

Bristol City are believed to have lodged a £200,000 bid for his services.
