On-loan Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy is hoping that Sunderland don’t price him out of a summer transfer to Portman Road. The 27-year-old striker joined Town on-loan from Sunderland and has scored 6 goals in 11 games, making him Town's joint leading scorer. He is due to go back to Sunderland in the summer but he wants to stay at Portman Road.
Murphy: "I don't know what price is going to be put on my head, or whatever, I hope the price is not too restrictive, because I just want to play football. I've got my chance here, and I'm enjoying my time working with Roy Keane again, as I did at Sunderland. Long may that continue.
"At the end of the season I go back to Sunderland, and we'll see what happens from there,"
