Roy Hoping To Fill Portman Road

Town manager Roy Keane is hoping to see large crowds at Portman Road again, with crowds of around 20,000 disappointing Keane. Keane: "Our fans have been magnificent this season, they could easily have lost patience with some of the players, the team, myself but they haven't done that.

"We all appreciate it. Some of my players have disappeared down the tunnel too quick for my liking in some games without showing their thanks to the supporters - that won't be happening again, you can be sure about that.

"Our fans have travelled in large numbers and at home, we have been hitting 20,000 - in a season which has been disappointing.

"I want us to get up to 30,000 and see the place full up. That will only come with us winning football matches. If we are winning games every week, the supporters will come in their numbers."

Have noticed a few are unwilling to appreciate the fans!

But not all! Always good to see the players acknowledging the support we give them!

i don't think he still does fully appreicate the fans, putting up this s**t, why is r.k coming out with the bloody obvious? has he just realised whats going on?

The only way for ITFC to fill the ground every other week is to lower the ticket prices. We are not a Premier League club, but our admission prices are still that of a top flight club. I love the idea Sheff Wed are doing next week, kids for a quid, is great, it means more bums on seats and more kiddies watching (and hopefully in future years) supporting their local team rather than following 'the glory teams'.
The prices at P.R are scandalous!!
