Stead: Glad To Be Back

Town striker Jonathan Stead says he can’t wait to get back into the Town squad following his 4 game suspension. Stead: "It has been a frustrating wait but I've kept my head down and worked as hard as I can to stay as fit as I can, the ban couldn't have come at a worse time for me. I was scoring goals and playing okay and also it's been a long month, with only one game a week.

"If the suspension had come in February, when we are playing twice a week, then my time out would have been two weeks and not four.

"I was very disappointed by the ban in the first place, especially when you see some of the tackles that go unpunished but to get the extra game was really harsh.

"That's in the past now though. I'm back and I can't wait to get involved again, hopefully against West Brom. It's going to be a difficult game but we are confident we can get the three points."
