Will Stead be leaving Ipswich?

Stead

Stead fears he will be going like before when he played under Keane at the Black Cats.

Stead has only started four games this season and has not scored at all.

The 26 year old fears History will be repeat itself like in 2007. When Keane sold him to Sheffield after leaving him out of the first team then.

Stead thinks as it's happen before it could happen again.

Keane can decide in January re players to go and come to Ipswich that is if he still is manager.

Even though Stead has started in four he has also come off in some at half time. He has find it not ideal and he was upset re reports in the summer that Keane was thinking of letting him go, as Keane had told him he was part of his plans.

The reports seem to say he was not going to play for Ipswich again.

Stead asked Keane if reports was true and it ended up being that it was not the case and that Stead was staying.

Unfortunately I think he will go - RK seems set to keep Walters as a striker - having bought Edwards in to go RM.

With Priskin the big money buy in, Counage still a fans favourite and the up and coming Wickham - Stead will find himself 5th choice - at best.

Shame as he was going great guns at the end of last season.

from the games i have seen, stead is keane's scapegoat, he did'nt like him at the last club that they were at together. the supply to the front two has been very bad, the majority of the time he has partnered with john walters who has'nt scored neither. so why is stead in the eye of keane's rage. they are being used as the long ball target men, this creats no passing and creative play
