Reports are coming in that Ipswich Tryed to sign the Birmingham keeper after Shane Supple left Ipswich in August.

But Birmingham financial demands ended any deals.

Doyle find it hard at the start of the season at Birmingham saying:

“I came in at the end of last season, had a couple of games, did well and then the club told me that I could go out on loan. A few clubs were sorted but then they fell through."

Birmingham wanted Doyle to get experience by going on loan but they wanted money for him as well which did not make sense.

Ipswich went on to sign Arran Lee-Barrett instead till Janurary .
