Town midfielder Tommy Miller has confirmed he will be joining Sheffield Wednesday when he Town contract expires at the start of June. The 30-year-old midfielder will join up with Brian Laws, who was his boss at Hartlepool before he returned to Town for his second spell in 2001.
Wednesday manager Brian Laws: "I have made it clear that we need to add experience to our squad and Tommy certainly fits the bill. He also has the ability to go with that experience and a massive drive to succeed. I am delighted to welcome him to the club".
Miller has already enjoyed three spells with Town (first as a youth player), 2001-2005 and 2007-2009 but he has not ruled out a 4th spell at Town, saying: "Don't rule it out. You never know in football. I have loved my time at Ipswich and would love to come back as manager one day.
"I still have a few years playing in me but I'm already looking at taking my coaching badges."
