Walters Out For Season

Town midfielder Jon Walters has been ruled out for the rest of the season after the season after rupturing ankle ligaments in the draw at Wolves. Walters went for a scan on his ankle yesterday, the results of which have ruled him for the season.

Town physio Matt Byard explains: "The scan has shown that Jon has ruptured his ankle ligaments and unfortunately that means he won't play again this season, the plan now is to take specialist advice to see the cause of action from here but surgery is obviously a possibility.

"We will be guided by the specialist and also to Jon to see what the best way forward is in his recovery but I can see his rehab continuing into the summer."
