Norris In Court

Town midfielder David Norris has been fined £450 and given three points on his driving license today, after pleading guilty to driving while using a mobile phone. Norris pleaded guilty to the charge, although he was going to defend himself by saying he was drinking from a bottle of water whilst on a hands free kit. He decided against that defence and today pleaded guilty, earning himself a £450 fine instead of the normal £60 and three points.

A Town spokesman confirmed Norris' court appearance saying: "We are aware that one of our players was in court. It's a private matter and it has been dealt with by the court."
