Town defender Ben Thatcher returned to action last night, playing the full 90 minutes for Town's reserve side as they drew 1-1 with Charlton. Thatcher has been out of action since tearing thigh muscle during Town's Carling Cup defeat against Wigan in September, his return pleased reserve team coach Chris Kiwomya.
Chris: "We had a strong backline out against Charlton with Ben, Alex (Bruce) and Pim (Balkestein) in the side and Shane (Supple) in goal, Ben did well and came through the game fine. He is very close to full fitness now and will be all the better for the run-out.
"Ivan Campo gave us a good 80 minutes as well so we got a lot out of the game."
