Town manager Jim Magilton says he could invite former Manchester United winger Quinton Fortune for a trial at Town. The 31-year-old hasn't played football since being released by Bolton a year ago although he has had a trial at Blackburn Rovers and was expected to join them until Mark Hughes left to manage Manchester City, although he hasn't played for a year Jim says if he is fully fit Town may want a closer look at him.
Jim: "Quinton Fortune is a lad with great quality who has had a tough few years. An agent has called me and asked me about taking him.
"If he was someone who was anywhere near his true fitness then he is someone we would invite in.
"There is no problem about bringing in someone of Quinton's ability to our football club. But it is at a very early and tentative stage although definitely one to watch."
