Town defender David Wright is excited at the prospect of new players joining Town over the summer. Wright and Alex Bruce are about the only players that look like they have a chance of starting next season in the Town defence as Jason De Vos and Fabian Wilnis have retired, Sito has been released and Dan Harding is on the transfer list leaving just Town's youngsters as competition for Wright and Bruce but Wright is expecting new signings and looking forward to the challenge of next season.

Wright: "I'm sure the gaffer will be bringing in new players over the next month or two.

"He has a few pennies to spend now with the Marcus Evans investment and he will be looking at some quality players.

"The squad has really moved on from when I first arrived and the results are there to see on the pitch.

"We were one point from the Play-Offs and I'm sure the gaffer is looking for that extra class to come in and help take us onto the next level."
