Town To Forge Links

Town manager Jim Magilton is hoping Town's pre-season games against Northern Irish teams in July will help the club build strong relationships with Northern Ireland. Town will tour Northern Ireland between the 14th and 19th of July and play games against Cliftonville, Donegal and Glentoran and Magilton is hoping those games will help Town forge links with those and other clubs in Northern Ireland.

Jim: "We will be spreading the gospel of Ipswich Town to the people of Ireland, the fixtures lined up will push us and the tour will also allow us to spread our wings to the wider community of Northern Ireland.

"Maybe we will be able to form an attachment there and that may lead to us getting a close look at the best players over there with an opportunity of bringing them to the Club."
