Released Town midfielder Sylvain Legwinski is considering retiring from football after being let go by Town at the end of his contract. The 34-year-old midfielder was told last week that he won't be getting a new deal at Town after only making a handful of appearances for the first team and he is now considering quitting the beautiful game.

Sylvain: "I have to speak to a few people before I make a decision on my future, there may be one or two clubs that might be interested or it maybe that it is the right time for me to retire from football.

"I enjoyed my time at Ipswich very much. It was a good move for me to join the Club and being voted player of the year was very special.

"The second season was not so good but that is football. The injury I had put me back a bit and I was always trying to catch up, which is not good at my age!"
