Town defender Richard Naylor is on course to return to training during pre-season after making a good recovery from surgery on his neck. Naylor missed the last two months of the season after suffering a recurrence of his neck injury Town's game against Barnsley in March, he eventually underwent surgery which was a success and if it all continues as planned he will be training at the start of pre-season.
Town physio Matt Byard: "Richard is making exceptional progress, he is working very hard on his recovery and if he continues to improve as he is, then he should be back for the start of pre-season with the other first-team players."
