On-loan Crystal Palace striker Shefki Kuqi says he is hoping to stay at Town beyond the end of the loan that keeps him here until the end of May. The 31-year-old appears to have no future at Palace after making an unpleasant gesture towards his own fans when being substituted off, Palace manager Neil Warnock responded to that by saying Shefki would never play for Palace again, but that doesn't bother the striker as he wants to be at Portman Road next season.
Kuqi: "I love this place, it is the people who make it special. And it is special.
"When I was with Blackburn Rovers I had a great time in the Premier League, but nothing can compare - as far as I am concerned - with playing for Ipswich."
