Stefanovic Linked

Town have been linked with a move to sign Fulham defender Dejan Stefanovic on-loan as cover for Richard Naylor who is carrying a neck injury. The 33-year-old joined Fulham in the summer but has only made 13 appearances so far for the Cottagers, Jim Magilton is hoping to sign someone in a similar fashion to Matt Elliot who was signed on-loan by Town a couple of seasons ago.

Jim: "If we could get someone in that we all know he could come in a do a job then I would do it immediately.

"I just want someone else in who I know could do a job. We brought Matt Elliott in at a crucial time and he brought in composure and we're looking to bring in that sort of personnel.

"I know Alex (Bruce) can do a fantastic job for us but I'm looking for cover to bring composure to us that's needed at this time."
