Jim Denies Rumours

Town manager Jim Magilton has denied he has any interest in signing Swansea striker Jason Scotland or Sheffield Wednesday defender Tommy Spurr. Town were linked with the pair in yesterdays newspapers, Scotland as a replacement for David Nugent who snubbed Town last week and Spurr as another left back to provide competition for Dan Harding.

Town manager Jim Magilton denied the rumours simply saying: "There is nothing in it."
